Success Of Loudbox Mini Resets Bar For Acoustic Guitar Amps

Anaheim, CA––Since it started shipping in September, the new Fishman Loudbox Mini acoustic guitar amp has already broken sales records while earning unanimous critical acclaim from guitar magazines, web sites and user forums.

The Loudbox Mini is the latest evolution of Fishman’s popular line of acoustic instrument amps, weighing in at a mere 20lbs but capable of delivering 60 watts of clean, balanced sound in a handsome package with a street price of $299.

Press reaction to the Loudbox Mini has been universal. Writing in Premier Guitar, Charlie Saufley commented, “Whatever your musical style, the Fishman Loudbox Mini is an exceptional acoustic amp that sounds bigger, richer, and more expensive than its size or price would suggest.

Harmony Central’s Jon Chappell echoed, “The build quality, aesthetics, and core sound of the Loudbox Mini are all up to Fishman’s usual excellent standards. When you combine those with

the features of a quality reverb, sophisticated EQ, and a musically useful chorus—plus the 60 watts of pure, powerful sound in a compact and lightweight package—you’ve the perfect amplification companion for all your acoustic instrumental and vocal needs.

In Acoustic Guitar, Andrew DuBrock noted, “Anyone looking for an inexpensive, highly portable, and great-sounding amp should check out the Loudbox Mini––especially singer-songwriters and singer/guitarists who need something to amplify both their guitar and vocals, but want the smallest package possible.
As noted, the Mini has two channels with Fishman’s renowned preamp and tone control designs. The Instrument channel features include 3-band EQ with low, mid, high tone controls; a Reverb level control; dual-function Chorus and a feedback-fighting Phase switch; a ¼ input for active and passive pickups along with a 1/8 auxiliary input; a D.I. output and a balanced XLR output. The Microphone Channel features an XLR input for dynamic mics; 2-band EQ with low & high tone controls and a Reverb level control.

Loudbox Mini is housed in an attractive and elegant chocolate brown textured tolex enclosure with brown grille cloth and beige faceplate.

Best of all, the new Loudbox Mini lists for an incredibly affordable $459.95 with a recommended street price of $299.95
