TELEFUNKEN Elektroakustik has completely restored and customized a pristine 1963 Volkswagen MicroBus for the drive from their World Headquarters in Connecticut to this year’s Audio Engineering Society Convention in New York City. Proudly emblazoned with original vintage TELEFUNKEN graphics, the bus will be part of the company’s exhibition space as a testament to their attention to historic detail. The bus, along with the entire line of TELEFUNKEN Elektroakustik microphones will be on display at AES Booth # 660, October 9-12.

TELEFUNKEN Elektroakustik produces a comprehensive line of fine microphones, from meticulously manufactured historic replicas of classic vintage microphones handcrafted in the USA, to the R-F-T series of microphones that take

advantage of the globalization of technology. TELEFUNKEN also manufactures a TEC(r) Award Nominated dynamic microphone [the M80] for broadcast, live and studio vocal performance. The TELEFUNKEN TEC Award-winning line includes the ELA M270 (stereo 251), ELA M251, U47, U48, C12, AK47, ELA M260, and M80 dynamic mic, and will launch their new M1c cardioid only tube condenser as the focal point of this year’s exhibits.
