Following Big Year at Vintage King Los Angeles
Popular and successful Vintage King Audio sales rep Josh Gleave has transitioned from his work in the company’s Los Angeles store to Vintage King Nashville. His studio expertise comes from a deep-seated love of gear and his versatility in the studio environment is well known in the recording industry.
Before joining Vintage King last year, Gleave was based in Kansas City, Missouri, where he started out as a musician and bandleader with a popular following on the indie scene. After turning his attention towards work as a session bass player, Gleave recorded with a wide array of bands from the world of Christian, country and rock music. He eventually made the move to the producer’s chair in 2009 and completed scores of album projects before joining Vintage King.
“I have a lot of friends and peers in the greater Nashville area,” commented Gleave. “It’ll be awesome to help them with their studio upgrades. At our Nashville store all of the outboard gear is routed to the API 1608 console, so it’s very easy to demo gear in a real working studio workflow. Nashville is a tight knit community where everyone really knows each other. It’s great to be here – the biggest small town I’ve ever lived in.”
