VK Co-Founder Mike Nehra Serves as an Awards Show Pro Committee Member

The Pensado Awards return Sunday, August 30th to LA’s Sony Pictures Studios lot with lead sponsor Vintage King Audio, an initial sponsor of the popular “Pensado’s Place” weekly web broadcast. Last year’s ceremony hosted a standing-room-only crowd of over 600 recording industry leaders and this year’s show is set to be even bigger.

The 2015 Pensado Awards will be held outdoors this year under the stars in Calley Park in the middle of the Sony movie lot. A VIP reception will be held on the complex’s Main Street area where guests from all levels and sectors of the recording community will mingle amidst the streets, period homes, and vintage shops made famous in the movies.
“The hybrid music maker of today is a composer, a songwriter, an engineer and a producer,” says Herb Trawick, producer and co-host of the weekly show. “An entire generation of people now do it all. Our goal with the Pensado Awards is to recognize these hugely creative individuals.
