COLOGNE, GERMANY, OCTOBER 17, 2016 – Wisycom, designer and builder of the most sophisticated RF solutions for broadcast, film and live production, will debut two of its newest products for the first time in Germany during this year’s Tonmeistertagung – the MPR50-IEM Wideband IEM Receiver and ACM50 Battery Charger. Both products will be on display with AudioTechnica, Wisycom’s German distributor.
The MPR50-IEM is Wisycom’s brand new, state-of-the-art diversity IEM receiver and has been designed for professional in-ear monitoring applications. The most anticipated feature of the MPR50-IEM is the updated ENS compander that caters to live events and music shows/broadcasts. The ENS compander in the MPR50-IEM significantly increases the quality of audio transmission during the transfer of complex data, such as high dynamic audio inputs. Vocal transmission is also refined in this new system. The user-friendly interface features popular components that are favored by established Wisycom users, including new channel switching capabilities, giving the user freedom to switch from IEM to IFB mode with a simple click on the menu.
Wisycom’s ACM50 is a lithium battery charger that is capable of charging up to 10 batteries simultaneously and was designed with the rack-based user in mind. At 19 inches and 1.60 kg, the ACM50 can be easily mounted and dismounted from any rack. The ACM50 is made from aluminum and sports two LED indicators under each charging slot. The LED indicators allow users to view the status of their batteries. It takes only two hours to fully charge a battery and the unit is powered via an AC or DC connector.

Also on display at the show with be Wisycom’s sought-after MAT288 Programmable RF Combiner and Bx1 Fiberbox with MFLC Compact Wideband Optical Link. The MAT288 allows its users to install all RF equipment in one central location, with antennas placed throughout the venue or set. The MAT288 operates on Wisycom’s wide bandwidth, giving its user a wide range of frequency options. Wisycom’s Bx1 Fiberbox houses the MFLC Compact Wideband Optical Link in a heavy-duty, ruggedized casing. The MFLC RF-over-fiber platform gives its users the ability to control wireless productions, of any size, while in use on location or during touring.
