WORXAUDIO TECHNOLOGIES TL215S-P SUBWOOFER NOW SHIPPING

Greensboro, NC – January 2009… WorxAudio Technologies, a leading manufacturer of loudspeaker systems for the pro touring and install markets, is pleased to announce that its TrueLine Series TL215S-P bass loudspeaker system is now shipping. Featuring a compact form factor that is well suited to both touring sound and fixed installations, this high output, self-powered subwoofer featuring dual 15-inch high excursion transducers is an outstanding choice for live concert reproduction, high energy clubs, theme park effects, houses of worship, musical theater, and numerous additional uses.

The TL215S-P is quite compact compared to many subwoofers and, as a result, touring sound professional will appreciate its efficient truck pack and rigging capabilities. Similarly, the TL215S-P can be discreetly placed out of sight in permanent installations while providing all the low frequency muscle today’s installers are looking for. The TL215S-P is the perfect low frequency complement to multi-way loudspeaker systems or as a bass section in any sound system requiring extended low frequency response and the highest quality audio reproduction. Its rugged 18-ply Baltic Birch enclosure is extensively braced and coated with a weather-resistant, multi-layered, catalyzed polyurethane finish. Combined with its 14-guage, powder-coated, cloth-backed, perforated steel grill, the TL215S-P is built to last.

The new WorxAudio TL215S-P subwoofer utilizes dual, direct radiating 15-inch, 1200W cone drivers in a tuned enclosure, which provides maximum output with minimal distortion and smooth extended low frequency response. The result is a bass system that delivers far greater low frequency articulation than many competing systems while moving massive amounts of air—delivering a rich low end fullness one can easily feel.

An ideal choice for a wide variety of sound reinforcement applications, the new TL215S-P bass system is driven by WorxAudio’s highly regarded PMD-2 power supply. Featuring 1000 watts of pulse pounding adrenalin for each LF driver in the enclosure, this powerhouse amplifier incorporates twin digital program processors, an XLR transformer with isolated I/O, and industry-standard AC PowerCon switchgear I/O.

Rounding out the TL215S-P bass system is the inclusion of EASE Focus aiming software for the TrueLine line array—a two-dimensional, acoustic simulation program that facilitates the configuration and modeling of line arrays. Designed for flying or ground stack applications, the TL215S-P incorporates all the contact points for the optional WorxAudio TrueAim™ rigging hardware. Among its numerous distinct advantages, WorxAudio Technologies rigging accessories are available for both touring and permanent systems, with the permanent installation hardware having a clean, inconspicuous design that presents a high-tech, uncluttered look enabling WorxAudio loudspeaker systems to blend perfectly into any environment.

Hugh Sarvis, WorxAudio Technologies’ CEO and Director of Engineering, commented on the company’s new subwoofer, “The TL215S-P bass system is the perfect choice for those applications that require high SPLs and extended LF response. This is a versatile subwoofer that is equally at home on the road or in a permanent setting, and I’m confident audio professionals will find it to be perfectly suited for a wide range of live sound reinforcement applications.

The new WorxAudio Technologies TL215S-P sub bass system carries a MSRP of $5,750.00. The TL215S-P subwoofer is available now.
