YAMAHA COMMERCIAL AUDIO SYSTEMS HOLDS TRAINING CLASSES AT AES EXHIBITION; NEXO SUPPORTS AES SPECIAL EVENTS ROOM

BUENA PARK, Calif.─ Yamaha Commercial Audio Systems, Inc. (YCAS) will offer two distinct training classes throughout the AES Show in Demo Room #120. The classes will be 60-90 minutes in length and the first will cover Digital Audio Networking Solutions for Sound Reinforcement with a second class for advanced users of the Yamaha PM5D-EX console.

The demo room will feature the new Yamaha SB168-ES Stage Box; a PM5D-EX system consisting of a PM5D digital console, DSP5D Expander, LYVE Tracker Recording System; MY16-ES64 and MY16-EX EtherSound expansion cards; Yamaha NAI-48ES, AD8HR, and DME8o-ES components, and classes will cover the Yamaha solution to creating a true digital audio network for sound reinforcement. A Yamaha LS-9 digital console, NEXO PS 8 Series speakers, NEXO PS Speaker Processor, Yamaha PC Series amps, will handle the pa for all classes.

YCAS will also provide a 7.1 system for use by the Audio Engineering Society in their Special Events Room, #134. A NEXO GEO S12 Series line array consisting of (17) GEO S1210 and (7) GEO S1230 line array boxes, NX242ES, GEO Subs including the new RS Sub, Yamaha T5n amplifiers, Yamaha M7CL digital console, and EtherSound expansion cards will carry the sound of AES planned events in the Special Events Room throughout the show.

When the Special Events Room is not being used for AES events, Lloyd Kinkade, Yamaha Commercial Audio speaker product manager, will hold 7.1 demonstrations of the new NEXO GEO S12 system throughout the three-day show. Check the schedule posted outside the AES Special Events Room for NEXO demo times. 7.1 demo playback material will be provided by Michael Chafee Enterprises.
