Quincy Jones Presents His Classic Michael Jackson Albums in Concert

Jones will present the world-changing albums he created with Michael Jackson: Off The Wall, Thriller, and Bad, live in concert

For the first time ever, Quincy Jones will present the world-changing albums he created with Michael Jackson: Off The Wall, Thriller, and Bad, live in concert.

This one-off show at The O2 in London will take place on Sunday June 23 and will see all three records performed back to back by a symphony orchestra that is conducted by Jules Buckley and Jones himself—accompanied by an array of special guests to be announced.

Jones will introduce and host the evening, which will feature never before seen video of the making of each album in between the live performances, picking apart the intricacies from a hat-trick of records that are a highlight in an unparalleled body of work.

1979’s Off The Wall, 1982’s Thriller, and 1987’s Bad all represent a unique, triptych landmark in popular culture, leading to both unrivalled commercial and critical success, as well as era-spanning influence.

The three albums have sold together in excess of 150 million copies worldwide, racking up an uncountable list of platinum discs and awards, including both Off The Wall and Thriller being inducted into the Grammy Award Hall of Fame in 2008.

Forging a link between disco, R&B and pop, the albums spawned some of the most popular songs of all time, including “Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough,” “Beat It,” “Billie Jean,” “Smooth Criminal,” and more.
