The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum has named Shure (Evanston, Ill.) as its official microphone for three years; as an official supplier, Shure wil donate wired and wireless microphone systems, PSM personal in-ear monitor systems, phono cartridges, mixers and other audio electronics. Additionally, the two companies plan to work together on educational programming to inform music fans about the important of hearing conservation.

“We genuinely appreciate Shure’s support because we stage a lot of live shows at the Rock Hall and Shure is the industry-standard for microphones, with a strong legacy in the rock world,” said Rock Hall president and CEO Terry Stewart. “Beyond the audio, we are pleased to be able to join Shure to advance the cause of hearing conservation through our educational programs.”
