Music industry veteran Michael Romanowski has been appointed to the position of mastering engineer for Paul Stubblebine Mastering (San Francisco).

“We’re very glad to have Michael onboard,” said Paul Stubblebine. “He’s an experienced and versatile mixer and mastering engineer, and his background in rap and hip hop, especially, gives us more depth in those genres.”

Romanowski got his start in Nashville, recording and mixing music before moving to San Francisco in 1992, when he joined Rocket Lab Mastering as a mastering engineer. Some of his recent credits include Platinum-selling rap artist Too $hort’s release You Nasty, in addition to mastering recent recordings by Screwheads, country singer/songwriter Chris DiCroce, Kevin Kern and the Shaft soundtrack album.
