Andrew Brakhan, former president and CEO of Sennheiser Electronic Corporation, died Tuesday, February 10, 2004, at his home in Truro, Mass.

Andrew Brakhan, former president and CEO of Sennheiser ElectronicCorporation, died Tuesday, February 10, 2004, at his home in Truro,Mass.

Brakhan joined the company in 1985 and led SEC as president from1989 through 1998, making key decisions such as acquiring NeumannMicrophones in 1991 and garnering the company an Emmy Award in 1996 forOutstanding Achievement in the Sciences of Television Technology. Hecontinued his involvement with the company post-retirement as aconsultant.

Sennheiser president John Falcone remembers Brakhan: “Andrewlaid the foundation for the great company in which we all now work.Andrew’s legacy in the pro audio world is a great one. But more thanthat, Andrew will be remembered for his quick wit and sharp mind, hisloyalty and his willingness to always lend a helping hand.”
