Apogee’s Symphony Mobile is a native audio workstation designed specifically for Apple’s MacBook Pro. Symphony Mobile features up to 32 channels of 24-bit, 192kHz digital I/O and less than 1.6 ms of latency at 96 kHz in a portable form factor. The card is installed directly into Apple’s MacBook Pro and offers direct connectivity to Apogee’s Rosetta 800, Rosetta 200 and AD-16X and DA-16X converters via the optional X-Symphony card to Apogee’s lX-Series or Rosetta Series converters.
Symphony Mobile connects with a single 32-channel, PCI-32 bidirectional connector and is compatible with Core Audio software applications. It also includes Apogee’s Maestro Software for control and routing and Apogee’s VBus for virtual routing between Core Audio applications.
Apogee expects to ship the Symphony Mobile in March 2007.
