Berklee Press, MOTU Release Digital Performer Book

Berklee Press (dist. By Hal Leonard Corp.), the publishing arm of Boston’s Berklee College of music, has partnered with MOTU to release Producing Music With Digital Performer, a guide to MOTU’s Digital Performer software. Written by composer/Berklee instructor Ben Newhouse, Producing Music with Digital Performer discusses the details of the program and is designed to guide both the novice and the proficient user through Digital Performer’s interface and tool set.

The book includes sections on mixing, mastering and synchronizing to film, and outlines many techniques for helping users make more natural-sounding MIDI productions, develop more efficient working methods and gain a more complete command of Digital Performer’s capabilities.

Producing Music With Digital Performer also includes a CD-ROM with audio recordings and project setups illustrating many of the effects and working strategies discussed in the book.
