Little Labs LMNOPRE

Little Labs’ LMNOPRE mic preamp features a fully discrete gain stage and a completely differential circuit topology from input to output, along with a low-frequency resonance control. The control uses a polystyrene capacitor passive circuit topology that allows a controlled proximity effect without being in close proximity of the microphone.

The LMNOPRE offers the same circuit topology for fully variable phase alignment found in the Little Labs IBP phase-alignment tool. The unit incorporates one passive DI input for use with active instruments and one active DI input for passive pickups. The front panel also has an output transformer defeat switch and a post-output transformer level control, allowing users to saturate the output transformer if desired while keeping gain under control. Users have the option of using external input transformers through a rear-mounted 5-pin XLR jack.
