El Segundo, CA (November 19, 2010)–Focusrite celebrated its 25th anniversary during the recent AES Convention by placing the company’s recording hardware history on display at its booth at the Moscone Center.

Among the numerous artifacts was an ISA110 channel strip signed by Sir George Martin that represented the “pinnacle” of Focusrite’s audio heritage. The ISA110 was the main input section of the Forté and Studio consoles made by the British company during the 1980s and ’90s. It’s so representative of the Focusrite sound that parts of its design can be found in current products, such as the ISA One, the ISA430 MkII and the new ISA428 MkII.

Also on display was the now-discontinued units from Focusrite’s Red, Green and Platinum ranges, which “offered an insight into the development of the professional audio industry, as well as Focusrite’s ability to adapt to the needs of the recording professional,” according to the company’s literature.
