Once again, Will Page, former Spotify chief economist, has crunched the numbers to calculate the global value of music copyright.
The recorded music industry worldwide had total revenues of $26.2 billion in 2022, a 9% increase over the previous year, according to the IFPI.
The global recorded music market grew by 18.5% in 2021, according to the IFPI Global Music Report 2022.
