The Desktop Recording Kit was designed specifically for the home recording enthusiast for vocal recording, capturing musical instruments, sampling and related tasks.
The MXL microphone included in the kit is self-powered, eliminating the need for costly preamplifiers or external power supplies, though it also works seamlessly with external microphone preamps.
