Shure announced that Christine Schyvinck (pictured) has accepted the position of executive VP of global marketing and sales. Schyvinck will have responsibility for the management of Shure’s five business units: U.S., EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa), Asia, International Americas (Canada, South and Central Americas) and Personal Audio. Schyvinck replaces Michael McGinn, who has left the company.
Ron Thompson, formerly director of global manufacturing, has accepted the position of VP of operations, and will report to president and CEO Sandy LaMantia.
