Eldon, MO (January 6, 2015) — As part of a series of videos to celebrate the company’s 20th anniversary and to recognize their valuable customers, ARGOSY has released a video interview with GRAMMY®-winning engineer, producer, musician and songwriter John Alagia
Alagia, who has an ARGOSY console supplied by the Village for his studio at the multi-story recording complex, also has another ARGOSY console at Crabtrap, his home studio which overlooks the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland.
“I saw the Argosy online and thought, I have to have one, “says Alagia. “And it has never moved since I built it. It is comfortable, functional and I like the design of it. I have been using Argosy for more than 14 years.”
Alagia is best known for his long working relationships with Dave Matthews, John Mayer and Jason Mraz, as well as Ben Folds, Herbie Hancock, Paul Simon, Liz Phair, Rachael Yamagata, Zac Brown and many others Last year Alagia co-founded of Drive Music (www.drivemusic.com), with multi-platinum songwriter Nolan Sipe, an independent publishing and record company which is in constant pursuit of new talent as well as progressive areas of development.
