Swing House Builds Bigger Digs

Swing House Studios, now in its 20th year in business, has announced that it will be relocating to a 21,000-sq.ft. facility in L.A.’s Atwater neighborhood.

Los Angeles, CA (July 18, 2014)—Swing House Studios, now in its 20th year in business, has announced that it will be relocating to a 21,000-sq.ft. facility in L.A.’s Atwater neighborhood.

The new location is situated between Downtown L.A., Silver Lake, Glendale and Burbank, and is accessible from the 2 and 5 freeways. The new complex will feature a recording studio with Neve/API consoles, digital and analog recorders, private lounge and bathroom, plus seven private writing studios.

The building will also house two production stages measuring 2,000 and 1,250 sq. ft., both with 19 ft. ceilings, private bathrooms, dressing rooms and production offices, as well as two rehearsal rooms, one measuring 600 sq. ft. with wood dance floor and another occupying 400 sq. ft.

The new Swing House Studios will offer backline, audio and staging rental departments and will feature a loading dock and bus bay plus parking for more than 30 cars. Private office space will also be available in the complex.

According to the company’s statement, “As the music industry in Los Angeles continues spreading east, Swing House will be able to better cater to the burgeoning downtown and east side music scenes, while offering peace of mind with a conveniently located facility offering privacy and amenities to cover all needs.”

The company anticipates it will be in its new location later this summer. The company’s present West Hollywood location, which has hosted Aerosmith, Shakira, Coldplay, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Bruno Mars, Rage Against the Machine, Marilyn Manson, Iggy & The Stooges and numerous others over the years, will meanwhile remain fully operational.
