Genoa, Italy (October 20, 2026)—Earlier this month, the Genoa International Boat Show brought people together from all over the Continent, so the City of Genoa ran Iren Energy Live alongside it, an EDM event that drew more than 40,000 people to the city’s Porto Antco.

Headlining the dance event was Belgian DJ Novah’s set, presented in the round on a spinning stage, allowing the audience to surround the platform. Ensuring that everyone in attendance could hear Novah, as well as opener Row1 and closer DJ Valentinø, was local audio provider Show Technologies. The event was produced by RST Events.

Covering the crowd was an Outline GTO C-12 system, set up to cover the entire surrounding space. Meanwhile, Outline Mantas systems were deployed as monitors for Novah at the console.

Giancarlo “Gerry” Paladini once again worked on behalf of Show Technologies, handling system modelling and optimization via Outline OpenArray 2 software, and he had thoughts about the arrangement: “A 360-degree sound system configuration is never acoustically ideal; even so, OpenArray 2 proves reliable, predicting with exceptional accuracy what will happen on site, in the real world. A system with this SPL-to-size ratio takes a configuration like this in its stride, maintaining undistorted SPL that fully meets expectations.”
