Power pop legends Big Star reunited at Ardent Studios in Memphis to record their first album in 30 years. The group is co-producing the new Rykodisc album with Jeff Powell.
Big Star’s last studio album, Sister Lover’s/Third, was completed 30 years ago, but not released until 1978. The group was honored this year with the first annual Heroes Award presented by the Memphis Chapter of the Recording Academy.
