With X-Line Very Compact, the company offers dynamic headroom for compact line arrays. The XLD281 is a three-way design using CCT™ (Coverage Control Technology) to control horizontal coverage to 250 Hz. It uses an 8-inch neodymium LF transducer, an 8-inch neodymium LF/MB transducer and two ND2S neodymium, 2-inch voice coil compression drivers combined through two Hydra™ plane wave generators into a 120×10-degree waveguide. CCT uses both 8-inch transducers to provide maximum low-frequency output and operating bandwidth while controlling horizontal beam width as low as to 250 Hz by using DSP. The XLD281 has a sophisticated internal crossover network and can be operated in bi-amp or tri-amp modes. It is 9.9×28.8×14.4 inches (HxWxD) and weighs 47 pounds.
