Orchestral Tools, a worldwide leader in high-end, high-resolution sample libraries, will host a special event on January 22 at the Paramount Theatre, on the Paramount Studios lot in Los Angeles, featuring a keynote speech and open conversation with one of Hollywood’s hottest composers, Tom Holkenborg, aka Junkie XL.
Holkenborg, who has scored Mad Max: Fury Road, Black Mass, the current Mortal Engines, and the heavily anticipated, upcoming James Cameron/Robert Rodriguez collaboration Alita, has become an in-demand, triple-threat artist/performer/composer in recent years. In 2017, he delivered an insightful, inspiring and creative-based keynote speech at Mix’s fourth annual Sound for Film event.
Just a couple weeks ago, as Peter Jackson’s acclaimed Mortal Engines hit theaters, Holkenborg launched Season Three of Studio Time, his educational audio and music production YouTube series.
