The AES offered its first-ever seminar track dedicated exclusively to live sound during its latest show (May 28 to 31, 2005, CCIB Convention Centre, Barcelona). Says AES executive director Roger Furness, “Live sound is too important and expansive an issue, it could not be covered by a single workshop or a paper session. To properly address the topic, the Barcelona Committee has organized an entire set of seminars covering selected subjects related to live sound.”
?Says seminar chair Martin Wöhr: “The AES and the supporting companies have spared no effort to prepare and equip the seminar room with state-of-the-art technology. This new activity will provide a perfect opportunity to learn more about P.A.s and live sound. It shouldn’t be missed.”
