Solid State Logic will show new software upgrades for its C100 Digital Broadcast Console at AES 2004, booth #1002.
Version 1.5 software incorporates new security features, including a new DSP redundancy system, which adds to the C100’s self-healing DSP capabilities.
The C100’s control surface management provides operational security for the most vulnerable part of any broadcast console. Using a simple graphical interface, the operator is able to reconfigure the control surface without audio interruption.
A new remote-bay option allows the console processing to be split across two control surfaces, providing additional flexibility in situations with restricted space or where two distinct control sections are required.
An enhanced networking and integration capability, including third-party router integration, allows information interchange between an external router and the console’s built-in digital router.
