CharterOak Acoustic Devices announces a partnership with MB QUART of Germany to manufacture headphones for CharterOak. The CharterOak Studio Phone I (SP-1; price TBA) is an acoustically closed headphone for studio use and music production.
The CharterOak SP-1 headphones offer five-dimensional “Cardamatic” ear-cup suspension for a comfortable, individual fit regardless of head size, and to prevent bodily noise effects from infiltrating the ear cups. Comfortable, hygienic ear pads promise excellent insulation from outside noise without affecting the wearer’s comfort over long periods of time. The headphones also offer high-quality drivers featuring light sandwich diaphragms and copper-plated aluminum voice coils, and promise an extended frequency response.
The CharterOak SP-1 will be shown for the first time at the 123rd AES convention in New York City (October 5-8, 2007 at the Javits Center) and will be made available for sale via CharterOak dealers.
