Clinton Recording Studios in New York City announces that June 30 will mark the last day of operations at the building on 653 10th Avenue that has been its home since its doors opened in December 1983. “This building has housed a very successful and magical experience for us all,” says Ed Rak, president of Clinton Recording.
It has also been a very personal experience for Rak, who oversaw the designing and construction of Clinton with a vision of creating New York’s premiere recording facility. Rak has sold the building and is now focused on other opportunities that include exploring alternative New York City locations.
As a result, Clinton Recording Studios will no longer accept bookings for after June 15, 2010. “Our intention is to continue operations at a new location in the near future, and we look forward to maintaining all of our valued relationships,” says Rak.
“We will help make arrangements to accommodate our clients during this time of transition. We have enjoyed making history in recording, and we wish to continue providing the best recording solutions going forward.”
During 27 years in business, Clinton Recording Studios’ clients have included top artists such as Frank Sinatra, Steely Dan, Bob Dylan, Sting, Beyoncé, Bruce Springsteen, and many others.
