Sennheiser is introducing the Evolution e840 professional cardioid vocal microphone at Winter NAMM 2005, Booth #6766.
The e840 promises to cut through high onstage levels by suppressing sounds emanating from outside its pick-up pattern and providing high gain before feedback. It is also fitted with a hum-compensating coil to reduce electromagnetic interference. The metal housing is finished in gray with a gray basket and encloses a shock-mounted capsule.
The Evolution e840 is supplied in a protective pouch with an MZQ800 microphone clip. MSRP: $189.00
