Steinberg, the Audio Group of Pinnacle Systems teamed up with Fits & Starts Productions, LLC for its series of HOW-To Church Sound Workshops™ currently running through January 2005. The workshops are dedicated to training church sound volunteers in live sound techniques and technology, offering hands-on training and exposure to the latest audio technologies.

Featuring audio engineer-author Mike Sokol, and produced by Hector La Torre, the workshops offer two days of audio instruction, including a 3-hour Basic” workshop and an “Intermediate” workshop. Fits & Starts are using the Cubase System 4 to record a service’s music and sermons, as using WaveLab for editing and mastering MP3 and CD/DVD.

“We are extremely happy for the support companies such as Steinberg are providing for our tours. It shows that they are actively supporting audio education, and we are pleased to be using quality Steinberg products on tour,” states La Torre, who has recently begun the Church Sound Workshops as an extension to his highly successful and on-going Surround Sound Workshops.
