Carney Brings Extensive Expertise in Product Demonstration and Education, Digital Media, and Pro Audio Engineering to the SKAA Wireless Team

EDMONTON, Alberta, Canada, Oct. 21, 2026 – Eleven Engineering, Inc. (www.elevenengineering.com), a market leader in semiconductor products for wireless audio for pro, home theater, multi-room, portable, 12 Volt (car, truck, motorcycle, power sports, marine) and gaming applications, is proud to welcome Josh Carney as marketing manager and content creator.

“Josh brings extensive expertise in product demonstration and education, digital media, and professional audio engineering to the SKAA wireless team,” said Rex Whitehead, Eleven Engineering executive vice president, sales & marketing. “With deep, hands-on expertise spanning recording studio technology, music production workflows, live sound reinforcement, and social media strategy, Josh offers a real-world production perspective to his role as a passionate advocate for wireless audio innovation.”

Josh Carney

Carney is an accomplished media producer, multi-instrumentalist, higher education instructor, and recording engineer, holding a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Grand Valley State University and a Master of Music Composition from Central Michigan University. As the founder of Carney Media Group, he has contributed to hundreds of records for musical artists worldwide, including media production work for The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. He is also the creator of the popular educational YouTube channel MusicTechHelpGuy.

“I’ve done a lot of live sound and event setups over the years, and the absolute worst part about it is dealing with power and signal cables,” added Carney. “SKAA completely eliminates the hassle of cables while delivering pristine, ultra-low latency, and rock-solid stability. It’s incredibly flexible—I use it daily in my studio for monitoring, in my home theater setup, and for professional live sound and event production. SKAA has truly become a part of my everyday life, even outside of work, and I am excited to be part of the group that brings this technology to the masses in a diverse set of products and markets.”

SKAA is the wireless HiFi audio standard developed by Eleven Engineering, Inc. SKAA transmitters work with iOS & Android mobile devices, Mac & Windows computers, televisions, and just about any product with a line output or a headphone jack. SKAA is also available as a built-in technology not requiring an external transmitter in purpose-designed partner products, which are featured at SKAA.com. SKAA navigates hostile environments saturated in wireless traffic with best-in-class reliability. With SKAA, the receivers (speakers / headphones) are in charge of selecting which transmitter to listen to. There’s no pairing. SKAA’s audio quality is always 480 kbps while Bluetooth’s is always lower and actually varies depending on environment and circumstances. You can use up to five SKAA transmitters in your home at the same time.  That’s up to 20 speakers or headphones.
