Severtson Will Provide a SAT-4K Acoustically-Transparent Cinema Projection Screen for Sharp’s Meeting Room Whereas it Will Be Part of an Active Display with the Sharp NC-1424 Projector
San Tan Valley, Ariz., April 7, 2026 – Severtson Screens (severtsonscreens.com), a global leader in innovative and quality projection screens for the cinema, commercial, pro AV, and home theater markets, is proud to announce that it will supply a SAT-4K Acoustically-Transparent cinema projection screen in the Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America meeting room (Neapolitan One / Promenade Level) during CinemaCon 2026, held in Las Vegas, Nev. from April 13-16 at Caesars Palace. The SAT-4K will be part of an active display with the Sharp NC-1424 digital projector.
“We always look forward to CinemaCon as it is the premier event for our industry,” said Dan Maxwell, Severtson Corp. V.P. & Chief Operating Officer. “Being able to showcase our screen solutions to attendees with the NC-1424 projector is the ideal projection demonstration. We are proud to present alongside Sharp during CinemaCon 2026.”
Made in the USA, the Severtson SAT-4K now includes an even finer weave and whiter material which makes the viewing image even better than before. Available to nearly limitless sizes in both height and length, the SAT-4K cinema screen meets or exceeds all industry standards for optimum video and acoustic performance, with reference quality reproduction of the digital image combined with true fidelity of the original soundtrack.
The NC-1424 features a built-in laser light source and is the ideal digital cinema projection solution for theaters with small and mid-sized screens or projection booths that are looking for high-quality cinema projection. This projector’s reliability, maintenance-free operation and approximately 50,000* hours (*at normal usage conditions and does not constitute the warranty period) of lifetime result in an overall lower total cost of ownership. The 2K DCI-compliant cinema quality means an outstanding image that is bright enough to display 14 ft-L on screens up to 55.4ft./16.9** (**assuming 1.8:1 gain screen) in DCI color.

“We are excited to partner with Severtson Screens at CinemaCon 2026,” said Ryan Pitterle, Sharp Sr. Product Manager, Projectors. “Severtson Screens are known for their high quality, cutting-edge cinema screen technology and they are the perfect partner to showcase our stunning cinema projection technology.”
