Kid Rock Guitar Benefits Children

West L.A. Music and Peter Tilden, a DJ on Los Angeles radio stationKZLA, donated a guitar signed by Kid Rock to Hillsides, a nonprofittreatment center for children. The guitar was signed at KZLA’sCountry Bash, held at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in Irvine, Calif.,on October 11, 2003. West L.A. Music’s general manager Rick Waiteand president Don Griffin arranged to have the Fender Stratocastersigned by the famous rocker.

The guitar will be auctioned off at Hillsides’ annual benefiton February 28, 2004. This year, the black-tie gala, Puttin’ onthe Glitz, will be held at the historic California Club in Los Angeles,with NBC weatherman Fritz Coleman presiding over the ceremonies andauction. For more than 90 years, Hillsides has worked to provide a safeplace for abused and neglected children through their ResidentialTreatment, Education Center and Family Center services.

West L.A. Music supplies equipment for major artists, recordingstudios, broadcast companies, film and video post-productionfacilities, producers, composers and record companies, as well asschools, religious organizations and government agencies.
