Tonelux’s Paul Wolff (left) and studio owner Peter Schmidt celebrate BallSall’s opening
Engineer/producer Peter Schmidt, owner of BallSaal Studios in Berlin, celebrated the studio’s grand opening last month, showcasing the facility and the first large format 48-channel discrete Tonelux recording/mixing console.
BallSall is based around Pro Tools and the Tonelux discrete mixing system and is located in the Teldex studio complex in Berlin. The system is built around a 48-channel full surround system using the Tonelux MX5.1 module. The console is a custom split design with 32 faders and an additional 16 channels without faders.
Tonelux will be showing their complete line at AES, booth #436.
