Fran and Anthony Cosmo, guitarists for the rock group Boston, recently added Sabine’s SWM7000 2.4GHz Smart Spectrum wireless system to their rig. Their guitar tech, Chris Morrison, discovered the powerful wireless solution while working with the band Trapt.

Morrison says, “I would say that I’m really impressed with the SWM7000. I was really anxious to try the Sabine wireless to see how it held up against the gear I used in the past, and I was pretty pleased.”

“The sound quality is what’s most important,” says Fran Cosmo. “I can’t lose that crunch on my guitar, and with Sabine I still have it. That’s very important. The other great thing about this unit is that it sounds great from venue to venue.”

“I really hate having cords all over the stage,” continues Fran Cosmo. “We tried using another wireless system, but it sounded terrible and it was killing our guitar sound. So then we got the Sabine in here and we didn’t lose that bottom end on the guitar and got better reception. The SWM7000 has made my life so much easier.”

Boston is currently preparing for a tour that will take the multi-Platinum band to China, Japan, New Zealand, Australia and Hawaii. Following the international trek, the group will look to film and release its first boxed DVD.
