Tokyo, Japan (March 5, 2015)—Faced with mixing Earth Wind & Fire’s Philip Bailey inside the 55,000-seat Tokyo Dome, FOH engineer Terry “TJ” Jackson recently used Blue Microphone Mo-Fi headphones to help tune the PA and provide reference for his mix.
“Spatial timing and panning is extremely important to a good mix, and having a reliable reference point is critical—especially for vocal and horn-focused bands like Earth, Wind & Fire,” he said. “Mo-Fi sounds so good that I can use them to create the live mix, then tune the sound system to sound like Mo-Fi!
