New York, NY (February 6, 2014)—Argentina-based audio supplier Equaphon has been providing 70 companies with Powersoft equipment, most recently providing a stock of Powersoft K10 amplifiers to the Buenos Aires Live Show (BALS), Argentina’s largest event sound and lighting company.

Set up in 1992, BALS first adopted Powersoft’s large DIGAM 7000 once Equaphon had taken on the range. “It was an easy decision for them to move across to Powersoft technology,” explained Carlos Maiocchi, founder of Equaphon. Today, the company’s inventory includes Powersoft K10 DSP, K10, K8 DSP, K8, K6, K3, M50Q DSP+ETH and DIGAM Q4002, with K8, K10, M50Q and Q4002 used frequently in both FOH and monitor racks on major shows.

Recently these large capacity shows have included names such as Aerosmith, Black Sabbath and Justin Bieber where they would typically use K10s and K8s on their main JBL VerTec system, with K10s on subs and more K10s (and a single K8) on sidefills.
