Revival Center’s Audio Revived

A new audio system is bringing added intelligibility to services.

Seattle, WA (September 20, 2018)—Seattle Revival Center, a non-denominational house of worship located in King County, WA, recently updated the sound reinforcement in its sanctuary with a new sound system, turning to One Pro Audio Video Lighting of Bellevue, WA, a design / build firm servicing the commercial and worship markets, for help.

Working with Quincy Owen Solutions of Lynnwood, WA, a consulting firm servicing both AV integrators and churches, the One Pro Audio Video Lighting team ultimately deployed a sound system consisting of DAS Audio Event line array enclosures, Event- subwoofers and Action stage monitors.

The facility seats 350 and sports a ceiling height of 35 feet at its center point. A priority for the congregation was speech intelligibility as well as having the PA out of the line of sight. With that in mind the DAS Event-208A line array elements were flown—four each for the left and right hangs—over the front edges of the stage area.

For low frequency support, they also deployed two DAS Event-218A subwoofers, positioned on the floor with one each at the left and right edges of the front-most stage area. For on-stage monitoring, there are four DAS Action M12A stage monitors.

Seattle Revival Center’s first service with its new SR system took place in early June.
