Madrid, Spain (September 24, 2026)—The Madring, which debuted in August, has been a massive undertaking. Constructed for €83.2 million, the hybrid circuit race track is the new home of the Formula One Spanish Grand Prix, encircling the IFEMA Exhibition Centre in Madrid. The site has a 120,000 capacity, which means its public address and voice evacuation systems are crucial for keeping visitors safe.

Spanish audio manufacturer LDA Audio Tech was responsible for designing and commissioning the system; working with integrators Ruybesa and DZ Engineering, they completed the project in under two months, with the August inaugural race date as a non-negotiable deadline.
Madring brings together a racing circuit, exhibition pavilions, Fan Zones and Hospitality areas within a single venue, each with its own pre-existing audio systems. LDA Audio Tech integrated all of them under a single voice evacuation architecture, while coexisting with the race audio operated by the FIA.

The solution runs on NEO+ technology and is organized into 15 sites connected via Nexo Hub, with digital audio synchronization over AES67. The circuit site, the largest of them, integrates 59 NEO-4500E+ extensions across 20 racks distributed along the track, and 456 Biamp Community loudspeakers covering the grandstands.
