Three-time Grammy Award–winner, singer/songwriter and guitarist John Mayer has been busy tracking a new studio release in The Village Recording Studios’ AMS Neve 88R–equipped Studio D in West Los Angeles. The John Mayer Trio’s project, entitled Continuum, is scheduled for release in May and is co-produced by Mayer and Steve Jordan.

The new studio album is the follow-up to the band’s live debut, TRY!. Released late last year, TRY! was mixed at The Village by Mayer’s longtime producer, John Alagia, and documents a pair of live dates at Chicago’s House of Blues on the John Mayer Trio’s fall 2005 tour, which concluded with three shows opening for the Rolling Stones.
