SugarHill Tells All

Andy Bradley

SugarHill Recording Studios (Houston) chief engineer Andy Bradley is teaching a new class for Houston, Texas–based Leisure Learning Unlimited. The class, entitled “The Sights, Sounds & Stories From SugarHill Recording Studios,” will provide insight into SugarHill’s 60 years of recording history and a view into the music production process.

The $29 course will include a listening party, a studio tour and a discussion, and is scheduled for August and November. Classes are held at the LLU office at 2990 Richmond, Suite 120.

Enrollees will hear inside stories about legends such as Lightnin’ Hopkins, Freddy Fender and the Big Bopper, along with more recent visitors such as the Rolling Stones, Ted Nugent, Todd Rundgren, Destiny’s Child, Beyoncé, Smashmouth, Clay Walker, Brian McKnight and Jermaine Dupri.
