SMPTE (White Plains, N.Y.) announced that its 143rd Technical Conference and Exhibition, “Pixels, Packets, Processing and Infrastructure,” will be held in New York City at the Hilton New York, November 4-8, 2001.
Activities for this year’s conference include: a welcoming reception; an industry luncheon with speeches from professionals in the field of motion imaging; an honors and awards reception to those in the industry who have demonstrated great achievement and contribution to motion imaging; and sessions revolving around the motion imaging theme.
