The event will be held in the Sky Room at New Museum, 235 Bowery, New York, NY 10002, and is scheduled as:
12pm – 2.30pm: The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust & the Spiders from Mars – with Ken Scott

The event is part of The Red Bull Music Academy, a music education effort built around a series of music workshops and festivals, held in a different major city every year. While the events are open to the public, the Academy itself selects 60 participants—producers, vocalists, DJs, instrumentalists and others from around the world—to spend two weeks taking in lectures by musical luminaries, working together on tracks and performing in the city’ clubs and music halls. The Academy began in 1998, and has been traversing the globe since: from Berlin to Cape Town, São Paulo, Barcelona, London, Toronto and many other places. The New York City edition runs from April 28 through May 31, 2013.
