HingeSonic announced today that it has officially
changed its name from HingeMusic to HingeSonic, signifying the transformation from a composition studio to an all-encompassing audio facility and post-production house. Located on Hudson Street amid many of the top agencies in New York, HingeSonic will now specialize in music composition, sound design, post audio and music licensing in order to deliver creative sonic solutions to its client base.

As part of the expansion, HingeSonic has formed strategic relationships with award-winning composers, Grammy Award-nominated producers and contemporary recording artists, as well as record labels and music publishers with catalogs of recordings available for license. HingeSonic’s composers and affiliates are known worldwide for their commercial work with BMW, Mercedes and Corn Nuts as well as hit TV shows such as Sex and the City, Sopranos, Malcolm in the Middle, The OC and movies such as Kill Bill.

“Having been a client, myself, I believe HingeSonic has a unique perspective to solving creative challenges,” says Robby LeDoux, CEO of HingeSonic. “From the moment our clients enter the studio, they are working with a cast
of award-winning producers and musicians with proven know-how to get to the heart of the creative process. We offer a space where our clients feel respected, not humored.”

HingeSonic’s executive team has won awards worldwide including Promax Gold’s and Silver’s for their work with Viacom; numerous accolades for their work in film; and for original music composition.
