Doug Wilkens
Industry veteran Charles D. Moore has announced his retirement, stepping down from his post as VP and general manager of sales and distribution company Inter-M Americas Inc. His successor, Doug Wilkens, will assume his position.
Moore and Wilkens launched Inter-M Americas in the fall of 2002, and have been associated together in a number of other ventures over the span of their collective careers.
A prominent player on the commercial, retail and pro audio scene since the 1960s, Moore’s resume includes stints with one of the largest AV/Visual Systems houses in the U.S., a number of manufacturing operations and his own businesses. Widely recognized for his leadership skills and market insight, he is known for his ability to help companies grow efficiently utilizing small, but effective staffs.
Wilkens came to Inter-M Americas, Inc. from Community, where he served as director of sales and marketing. He has also held positions with Mark IV Audio and Pro Sound products. Prior to that, Wilkens was involved in systems engineering and live sound mixing.
