Regarding the additions and promotions to Stompbox, O’Brien said, “It’s an exciting new chapter both for myself and for our company. I have such high regard for this great group of composers and artists. I’ve always felt that choosing the right personality for any creative endeavor is as important as his body of experience. Music, and especially music for advertising, is a fluid process of change, improvement and compromise. Each of our composers will bring with him a spirit and enthusiasm to each of our client’s projects, which will embellish and complement those projects. This is the next evolution of Stompbox.”

Tommy O’Brien is a founding member of Stompbox in l998. Originally a freelance composer and musician who began his career in New York, Tommy O’Brien once toured with Dee Dee Ramone and did a world tour with a pop act called Sweet Sentation. Moving to L.A. in l995, he worked on TV spots for Endless Noise and with many other major jingle houses based in LA.
