Mark Isham to Receive Henry Mancini Award for Lifetime Achievement

The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) announced that Grammy and Emmy Award–winning composer Mark Isham will be honored with the prestigious Henry Mancini Award for Lifetime Achievement at the 21st Annual ASCAP Film and Television Music Awards (April 11, 2006, in Beverly Hills).

The Henry Mancini Award is presented to composers in recognition of their outstanding achievements and contributions to the world of film and television music. Isham scored Crash, which won the 2006 Academy Award for Best Picture, and has composed more than 70 film scores, exploring a wide range of musical styles.
