Little Ferry, NJ (September 18, 2026)—When Eventide introduced the H9000 Gen2, the new edition brought with it considerably expanded processing capabilities; now Eventide is introducing a new immersive algorithm suite for the unit, addressing reverb, pitch shifting and upmixing to Quad, 5.1, 5.1.2, and 7.1 formats.

Central to the update is MicroPitch Immersive, which adds Eventide’s spatial pitch-shifting effect to the H9000. Supporting up to eight channels of spatialized, detuned delays, MicroPitch Immersive combines independent delay and pitch processing with modulation, EQ, and crossfeed controls.
The update also introduces Valley, a new reverb for creating deep, multidimensional spaces while providing the user with substantial control over their character. Valley is available in Stereo, Quad, 5.1, and 7.1 configurations. Haze, an immersive-specific control available in Quad, 5.1, and 7.1, spreads reverb output from each speaker into neighboring channels to create a more seamless soundfield.

Elsewhere in the update, new Upmixer algorithms allow users to rework existing sources for immersive environments, expanding material across Quad, 5.1, 5.1.2, and 7.1 configurations while providing new ways to position and shape sound throughout the spatial field. Additionally, the release includes more than 200 new FX Chains and presets.
The suite is available for existing H9000 Gen2 owners as a free update via Emote software. H9000 Gen1 owners can access Valley as a stereo algorithm. Gen2 DSP Upgrade Kits are available for Gen1 units at eventideaudio.com.
H9000 Gen2 itself runs $7,999 for the H9000 with front-panel display and $5,999 for the H9000R without display.
