NHT Pro Audio unveiled a new Website, www.nhtpro.com, which offers visitors the option to search by application (mixing, tracking and more) in order to find the systems that best suit their needs.
“NHT Pro Audio has grown from a high-performance, high-value line to one that incorporates some pretty radical design concepts,” said Don Bassey, product manager of NHT Pro Audio. “For example, one look at the M60Xd will indicate there’s something special going on, and, as such, details and illustrations are included to help answer any and all questions.”
The M60Xd DEQX Calibrated DSP speaker corrected monitor referred to by Bassey features a flat baffle and wide tweeter design to ensure even high frequency response, but it is considerably narrower around the woofer to eliminate reflections. Further, as there are no parallel surfaces, the design reduces internal standing waves and back reflections.
Additionally, the NHT Pro Audio Website features a streamlined system that focuses on the customer’s experience. Users are asked specific questions regarding products purchased, level of satisfaction and requests for user feedback. All feedback data is stored in encrypted .xml files that are uploaded nightly to the company’s servers.
NHT Pro Audio products are available to users in the U.S. and Canada via the site at a 20 to 25 percent discount over the manufacturer’s suggested retail price. A full menu of international dealers is also included on the site.
“Audio professionals and hobbyists tend to know what they want when they see it, so we make it easy to buy our monitors without the hassle of going through a third party. The additional discount is icing on the cake,” said Bassey.
