The PreSonus FaderPort USB automation and transport controller ($229) now supports Cakewalk SONAR. The FaderPort is Mac and Windows compatible and also supports Pro Tools, Cubase, Nuendo and Logic Pro.
The FaderPort is a single-fader controller that can write single and group channel volume, pan and mute automation. It includes the Alps fader found in professional control surfaces such as Digidesign’s D-Command. The fader uses a dual-servo motorized drive belt system for fast-acting, accurate and smooth operation. The FaderPort’s 100mm long-throw fader delivers 1,024-step resolution for writing fades and adjustments.
